The Hanoi Hash is a run / walk where old and young, quick and slow can do some exercise and sightseeing and have fun on a Saturday afternoon.
Participants call themselves the Hanoi Hash House Harriers. There is no membership, just show up on a Saturday.
The runs are set with dots of flour and are generally 1 1/2 to 2 hours. A beer stop and hash-holds are normally part of the run.
Most runs are set within one and a half hour drive from Hanoi. It is a great opportunity to see something of the country side and daily life in small Vietnamese villages.
A bus leaves from the American Club 21 Hai Ba Trung. Check the run direction for exceptions.
Run starts normally at 15:00. The bus leaves from the American club at 13:30 sharp in those cases. Check the run direction for exceptions.
Runs are followed by an On On, an informal and sweaty dinner on-site or somewhere in Hanoi.
